Traveling through Argentina’s wine regions is seamless when you understand the local realities of geography, domestic airline baggage limits, and winery scheduling.

1. Flying with Wine in Argentina

Argentine airlines (Aerolíneas Argentinas, Flybondi, JetSMART) understand that tourists buy wine:

• Domestic Carry-on: On flights originating in Mendoza (MDZ) or Salta (SLA) to Buenos Aires, Aerolíneas Argentinas permits up to 6 bottles of wine per passenger in carry-on baggage when packaged in official winery boxes or protective sleeves.
